Pumpkin Soup with Zacierki (Zupa z dyni z zacierkami)

1 small (or half large) pumpkin, peeled, seeded and cut into chunks ( do not use cans pumpkin puree)
2 cups whole milk
1 cup water
salt and pepper to taste

3/4 milk
1/4 of water
1 egg



Place pumpkin in a large sauce pan and barely cover with water. Reduce heat and simmer until pumpkin is tender. Blend it. Add milk, salt and pepper to taste, and bring just to the boil. Tastes best with polish zacierki :)

Mix milk with water and bring it to boil. Mix 1 raw egg in a separate dish with flour and salt
Put the egg in, add some more flour and stir until smooth. If the mixture becomes too thick, add some more water and keep stirring until smooth
Drop the mix one by one (spoon at the time) into the water. Boil. Zacierki are ready when they come up to the surface.
