Chocolate chip & walnut cookies

1 1/8 cups all purpose flour
half teaspoon baking soda
pinch of salt
1 cup (1 stick) butter, softened
1/3 cup granulated sugar
1/3 cup brown sugar
half teaspoon vanilla extract
1 egg
1/2 - 3/4 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips (or as you like)
1/2 cup chopped nuts


Preheat oven to 375°F.

Combine flour, baking soda and salt in small bowl. Beat butter, sugar and vanilla extract in large mixer bowl until creamy. Add egg and beat well. Gradually beat in flour mixture. Stir in morsels and walnuts. Drop by rounded tablespoon onto ungreased baking sheet.

Bake for 9 to 11 minutes or until golden brown. Cool on baking sheets for 2 minutes.
